Global Protect was founded by Matt M, a leader with a distinguished Military career and sharp eye for counterintelligence and security trends, honed through years of experience in global missions to protect government and defence assets and infrastructure. Specialising in insider threats and advanced countermeasures, he performed as the British Army’s Principal Technical Security Advisor (Counter Eavesdropping), where he was responsible for writing and developing the Ministry of Defence (MOD) Counter Eavesdropping strategy. He has built a team of experts who bring their own cutting-edge skills to the table.

Head of Specialist Security
With 23 years military experience, specialising in leading counter-eavesdropping missions, our TSCM (Technical Surveillance Countermeasures) expert, Russ M has worked in some of the world’s most challenging environments, trained to FCDO (UK) National Authority for Counter Eavesdropping standards and accreditation. His expertise extends beyond military service, having provided TSCM assurance operations and physical security assessments across the globe. He now directs Global Protect’s TSCM division, delivering unmatched expertise in securing both private and corporate clients across all sectors.

Head of Protective Security
Leading our protective security team is protective security expert Sid K. He has a deep background in international security and intelligence, honed from his time in the British Army and operating around the world providing Security, Threat and Risk Consultations. He brings experience across multiple sectors including Defence, Government, and Petrochemical. He’s managed the security of large estates and was key in developing the Mayor of London’s Security Threat and Risk Operations Centre delivering safety operations during the global pandemic. His approach and ability to manage and develop team talent are first rate.

Head of Digital Intelligence
Leading our Digital Intelligence Wing, Colin C is an industry leader in digital intelligence, and OSINT. With a career stemming from a frontline intelligence analyst serving in the British Army to Security Consultancy to British Embassy’ in Hostile locations. Colin is highly effective in rapid information assimilation and analysis, articulate delivery, and has a flair for innovative problem-solving and has recent experience in anti-corruption and AML investigations for both government and corporate clientele. He’s been pivotal in special operations and international law enforcement efforts, ensuring we stay ahead in digital security. He has also appeared as a Hunter on Channel 4's TV show Hunted, showcasing his expertise in tracking and intelligence operations to a national audience.
